Skea Egg Farms Ltd is a packer and marketeer of eggs. It operates from a packing station 2 miles outside the village of Donaghmore in Co. Tyrone. Skea Eggs is part of the Ready Egg Product Group located close to Lisnaskea in Co. Fermanagh.

Skea Eggs uses 2 Moba 530 PX graders to grade and pack the eggs sourced from local farms. The capacity of the 2 machines could allow 380000 eggs per hour to be handled.

The packing station in Donaghmore employs approx. 160 staff, covering all duties from production, despatch, hygiene, administration, egg collection from farm and farm liaison.

The packing station operates a single shift pattern 7 days per week with production taking place on 6 days and despatching of finished product only on the 7th.

The grading of egg involves the checking of each egg for internal and external quality, before being weighed and sorted into the relevant sizes.

Additional grading capacity is supplied through Ready Eggs who have another Moba 530 PX grader, capable of handling a further 190000 eggs per hour.
