Free Range Eggs
All our free range eggs are produced from hens meeting the RSPCA assured standards and the Lion Code Free Range production and packing requirements. Customers are able to buy free range eggs from us, knowing that we only source from trusted farms that treat their hens well and produce excellent quality eggs.
Much like the barn system, free-range hens are kept in large barns with nest boxes for the birds to lay their eggs but they also have free access to wander the range outside from 9am to dusk seven days per week. Ranges have 20% natural tree coverage and our hens are happy pecking and foraging in natural grasses, with the freedom to roam in a natural, stimulating environment while still having warmth and safety.

Enriched Colony Eggs
Enriched colony systems offer a high degree of control over the birds’ environment and hygiene. There are also good opportunities for mechanisation of routine operations such as provision of feed and water, the collection of eggs and the removal of manure. Enriched colony systems include nest boxes, perching space and scratch areas.
